Finding your voice

Have you ever noticed how your voice - how you actually speak - has a direct impact on your leadership effectiveness? Or maybe it's easier to recall someone whose voice does nothing to connect you meaningfully to that person.

Have you ever noticed that some people talk AT you or TO you, and not WITH you?

What a huge difference this one tweak can make when your CEO seeks buy-in or your sales team members attempt to close a deal, or your managers need to get everyone on the same page, or you need your partner, spouse, friend, or some other family member to really hear you, to really get you.

I call the voice of connection "a fireside chat" voice. It's inside everyone; it's just too often neglected in the corporate world - homelife, too.
